कभी न थकने वाली ये सड़कें,
टूटतीं हैं, बिखरती हैं ,
कभी सुनसान जंगलो से,
कभी शोरगुल के माहौल से,
ठंड मे भी, शुष्क मे भी,
बारिशो के कहर मे भी,
रात दिन नही देखती,
गंतव्य पर ले जाती हैं,
दो स्थानों को ही नही,
दो दिलो को मिलाती हैं।
हम इंशान ही तो सड़क बनाते हैं,
उसमे स्थापित आदर्श भूल जाते हैं।
अपनी लकीर बनाते बनाते अक्शर,
दुसरो की लकीर नाबूद कर जाते हैं।
हम खुद को सड़क बना नही सकते,
गंतव्य तक किसी को पहुँचा नही सकते,
हमे हक नही किसी को भी रुलाने का,
उनके आंशुओं को अगर चुरा नही सकते।
ये सड़के हमपर कटाक्ष करती हैं ,
मै तो प्रतीक हूँ निष्काम की,
तुम अपने हृदय मे सड़क कब बनाओगे,
निर्भय हो चल सको अपनी राह पर,
वो मशाल कब जलाओगे।
About the poet
Anand Pandey-Raj, third prize winner of Wingword Poetry Prize 2023 in regional category, brings a compelling narrative of resilience and passion to the forefront in his journey. He graduated in Science from ECC Allahabad University and further attained his Post Graduate degree from MAISM Jaipur. He worked as an Assistant Professor at MCMSR Visnagar and is also a professional trainer by vocation. Even after three decades of life’s hustle since college, his love for the written words never faded and he reignited his literary flame at the age of 50, proving that one is never too old to pursue their passion. He accomplished a remarkable feat by authoring three profound books - "Talash," "Yaar Tere Sheher Main," and "Ehsas," demonstrating that age is merely a number when it comes to living one's true calling.
