I snatched a hope
From the reluctant despair
And placed it stealthily
In the lonely courtyard
Of lost humanity;
There, embraced by the sun
And kissed by the rain,
Dreams will bloom again;
Yes, I snatched a hope
For yet another day
When love will prevail,
And all tears of pain
Will forever perish.
