WINNERS OF 2019
The first prize winner of Wingword Poetry Prize 2019 was Eshna Sharma for her poem ‘Dinner Table Conversations’. At the age of 17, Eshna became the youngest recipient of the Wingword Prize. She hails from Lucknow and will be coming out with her book of poetry ‘Girlhood’ in 2020 to be published by Delhi Poetry Slam. She received 1 Lakh Rupees as prize money from the Wingword Committee.
The Second Prize winner was Biju Reddy from Hyderabad for his poem ‘Strapped on cash’ who won 50,000 Rupees and the third prize winner was Shreya Deshpande for her poem ‘खुशहाल’ who won 25,000 Rupees. Their poems along with the poems of other 200 winners are due to be published in an exciting poetry book releasing in September 2020.

WINNERS OF 2018
Digvijay Kunwar was the 1st Prize Winner of Wingword Poetry Competition 2018 for his poem ‘कागज़’. He belongs to New Delhi. He won prize Rs 1 Lakh and has been published in a book of 20 poems. It is available on Amazon. Digvijay feels that by winning the competition, he has received lots of appreciation from his family & friends to finally pursue his dreams.
The second prize winner was Jane Mary Joseph (Mizoram) who won 50,000 Rupees and third prize winner was Yashi Gupta (Jaipur) who won 25,000 Rupees. Those who were selected in Top 200 positions were published in a poetry book.

WINNERS OF 2017
Vancouver Shullai was the 1st Prize Winner of Wingword Competition 2017, receiving 1 Lakh Rupees for his poem ‘The Wait’. He belongs to Shillong in Meghalaya. Vancouver believes that the competition gave him the confidence to take poetry as a serious business rather than just a hobby on the side.
The second prize winner was Debarshi Mitra who won 50,000 Rupees and third prize winner was Trijita Mukherjee who won 25,000 Rupees. Their poems along with the poems of other 200 winners were published in a poetry book.
